UFI Filters Introduces Cabin Filters for Tesla Model Y
UFI Filters is expanding its aftermarket range for the Tesla Model Y with two advanced cabin air filter sets – a high-performance HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. Distributed under both the UFI and SOFIMA brands, these filters offer OE-level filtration, ensuring optimal interior air quality for one of the world’s most popular electric SUVs.
OE-Grade HEPA Filter for Superior Protection
The UFI HEPA filter efficiently captures fine particles, bacteria, and biological pollutants. Meeting EN1822 European standards, it ensures high and consistent filtration performance throughout its service life. Manufactured in UFI’s cleanroom facility in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the HEPA set is engineered for vehicles with high airflow systems, preventing rapid clogging and performance degradation.

Activated Carbon Filter for Odor Neutralization
Designed to eliminate odors and gases, the activated carbon filter uses high-capacity adsorption materials to trap exhaust fumes, industrial emissions, and ozone. It’s manufactured at the energy-efficient UFI GREEN plant in Jiaxing, China, which operates using clean power like photovoltaics. This solution supports both air purity and environmental sustainability.
Filter Lifespan & Workshop Recommendations
UFI recommends replacing either filter type every three years, or earlier in challenging environments. Signs of reduced filter performance include poor airflow, persistent odors, or foggy windows. Depending on the issue, either the HEPA set or the carbon set should be used. Both are available separately as part numbers: 53.519.00 (HEPA) and 54.531.00 (Carbon).

Sustainable Technology for E-Mobility
As electric vehicles like the Model Y emphasize cabin comfort and clean air, UFI’s filters offer tangible value with sustainable production, renewable energy use, and eco-certified materials. The precision-pleated filter media maximizes surface area for air capture, while reducing environmental impact—perfectly aligned with Tesla’s clean mobility vision.
