Stellantis Advances Organizational Restructuring to Boost Agility and Growth

Stellantis announced it is moving forward with organizational simplification initiatives, following the changes outlined in December 2024. These steps aim to strike the right balance between regional autonomy and global coordination, enabling faster decision-making and execution. The company emphasized that the adjustments will enhance customer responsiveness and lay a strong foundation for future growth.

Stellantis Teamwork

As part of the restructuring, regional teams now have greater authority over local decision-making and operational execution — spanning product planning, development, industrial activities, and commercial operations — while maintaining close alignment with Stellantis’ global functions to best serve customers.

In a key structural move, Stellantis has integrated its software activities into a newly formed Product Development & Technology organization, led by Ned Curic. This consolidation streamlines the launch of products and services across all brands and markets.

Leadership Updates

  • Antonio Filosa will assume global leadership of Quality in addition to his role as Americas COO.
  • Clara Ingen-Housz will lead the newly combined Corporate Affairs and Communications team.
  • Olivier François will oversee the newly established Marketing Office, supporting brand advertising, global events, and sponsorships.

Brand Leadership Appointments

  • Bob Broderdorf is appointed to lead the Jeep brand.
  • Alain Favey joins Stellantis to lead the Peugeot brand.
  • Xavier Peugeot is appointed head of DS Automobiles.
  • Anne Abboud will oversee Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicles division.
Stellantis Growth Strategy

Stellantis Chairman John Elkann commented: "Building on the December changes, today’s updates will further simplify our organization, enhance local agility, and strengthen our execution. We are committed to delivering a wider range of outstanding combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles to our customers."

Meanwhile, the search for a new permanent Chief Executive Officer, announced in December 2024, is progressing as planned. Overseen by a Special Committee of the Board of Directors, the process is expected to conclude within the first half of 2025.
